Almond Equestrian proudly operates as a Pony Club Centre, offering a welcoming environment for children and teenagers who are eager to learn more about horses and ponies. Every Saturday, we open our doors to young people who want to ride, make new friends, and enjoy themselves. Our Pony Club members range in age from as young as six years old up to their late teens, forming a friendly and inclusive group where everyone feels at home.
We organise our sessions according to age groups to ensure the best experience for all. Younger members join us in the morning, with activities running from 10:00 to 12:30. Older members have their session in the afternoon, from 13:00 to 15:30.
As part of their development, members work towards earning Pony Club badges. These badges cover a variety of topics related to horses, ponies, and the countryside. The Pony Club Training structure is designed to encourage members to learn progressively, with opportunities to take tests at recommended ages. These tests are carefully planned to help members gain knowledge and skills in horse and pony care as well as riding, each with specific objectives in mind.
